Offices of the Band Booster Association
Officers of the Charlestown Band Booster Association are elected annually at the May meeting for a term of one year.
The President: The President presides over all regular meetings and special meetings, appoints all standing committee chairpersons, serves as an ex-officio member of all committees, and coordinates the Association’s activities with the school authorities and the band directors to assure that the activities are incorporated on the school calendar.
The Vice President: The Vice President assumes all duties of the President in the President’s absence. The Vice President is also responsible for assisting the President with important tasks.
The Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all regular meetings and special meetings. The Secretary is also responsible for maintaining a membership roster and providing membership registration forms for the Band Booster Association. The Secretary is also responsible for Association communication and correspondence.
The Treasurer: The Treasurer collects all monies received by the Association and keeps accurate financial records showing itemized receipts and expenditures. The Treasurer assists and cooperates in any audit of the Treasurer’s books. The Treasurer provides all documents as requested by the school corporation.
The Sergeant-At-Arms: The Sergeant-At-Arms assures that all members act in proper manner at all meetings and functions of the band.
